What are the maximum dimensions for a PVC banner?
In large format printing, we are talking about the width, that is to say the maximum printing width of our machines. For PVC tarpaulins, our maximum width is 5 meters. As for the length, it mainly depends on the size of the rolls of PVC tarpaulin, allowing us to create banners that can reach a length of 10 meters.
Thus, if the shortest side of your PVC advertising banner measures less than 5 meters, we can print it in one piece. However, it is important to emphasize that we have the ability to weld several tarpaulins together to create even larger formats. This discreet welding does not alter the readability of your advertising message. It even provides structural reinforcement to the tarpaulin.
Therefore, there are practically no limits to the size of the banners we can produce in this way. If you want the welds to be made at a specific location, you can indicate this directly on the print file or simply specify it in the remarks when placing your order.
What is the lifespan of a PVC tarpaulin printed for outdoor use?
PVC tarpaulins are known for their excellent resistance to weather and UV rays, which makes them ideal for outdoor use without fear of rapid degradation. For our PVC banners, we offer a default finishing with eyelets every 50 cm and a reinforced border to ensure optimal durability. If you prefer, we can also space the eyelets every 100 cm or place them only in the corners.
In addition to this standard option, we offer a wide range of finishes to meet all your specific requirements: sleeve, round hem, velcro, or even a combination of sleeve and eyelets, ideal for certain more technical installations.

PVC is an extremely durable material, ideal for printing outdoor advertising tarpaulins. PVC tarpaulins offer excellent resistance to UV rays and weather conditions., thus ensuring a long lifespan, even in difficult outdoor conditions.
However, for large formats exposed to strong winds, we recommend opting for a micro perforated mesh banner.This material helps reduce wind resistance, thus limiting the risks of falling or damage to the banner in case of strong winds. How to order a double-sided printed PVC banner?
For theprinting of a double-sided banner,it is essential to choose blockout PVC.This material is specially designed for this use due to its three-layer structure: two outer layers allow printing on each side, while a middle opaque layer prevents transparency between the two sides. Thus, you can print two different visuals on each side of your banner, ensuring a flawless rendering without visual interference between the front and back.

How should I prepare my file to ensure quality printing?

- Export in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)
It is essential to export your file in CMYK color mode, as it is the standard for printing. Unlike RGB, used for screens, CMYK ensures that the printed colors match what you see on the screen, avoiding any alteration of hues during the printing process. - Work at a scale of 1:10 for large formats
If your visual is large, it can be tedious to work at actual scale in your design software. To facilitate the process, we recommend working at a scale of 1:10. Your file will be lighter and easier to handle, without compromising the final print quality. - Consider margins for important elements
Be sure not to place text or logos too close to the edges of your visual. Indeed, finishes like reinforced borders and eyelets occupy part of the edges of the banner.
