At the end of your order, you will have the opportunity to submit your print data to us. Our team of professional graphic designers carefully checks the print data for printability and plausibility, e.g., if the measurements do not match the ordered product. Before production begins, you will receive a proof for approval. This ensures that you get exactly what you envision.

Correctly prepared print data = faster production start

Please note that correction loops may delay the production start and thus the delivery date. This may incur costs for express production and delivery. Therefore, it is worthwhile to pay attention to our checklist for creating print data when preparing the print data. Additionally, we offer to check your print data for printability free of charge and without obligation before your order. Please use the following form for this: Submit pre-check.

Explanations

The print data must be prepared differently depending on the material and execution to achieve optimal print results.

Place fonts and other important elements at least 5cm away from the edge, to avoid overlapping with eyelets, hems, or seams.

Tip: In your respective graphic program, draw guide lines with a 5cm distance from the edge to check this.

Use a line thickness that is still easily readable from a distance. Depending on the material, the suitable line thickness varies. For lines under 0.1 cm we cannot guarantee optimal readability for all materials. This particularly affects mesh materials and flag fabric.

Same item, multiple designs? With us, you do not need to place multiple orders. In the shopping cart, multiple identical items are automatically combined into one position to grant you bulk pricing. If you want to use several different print designs for one shopping cart position, this is of course no problem.

It is best to name the print files with the respective division (e.g., design_A_3x.pdf). You can then inform us again during the ordering process of the desired division in the order comments or via email for safety.

To simplify the creation of print data for beach flags, roll-ups, trade show walls, trade show counters, and pop-up tents, we have developed design templates. You can find these in the print data section of the respective product in various formats for download.

The design templates are set up at a scale of 1:1 and should, if possible, be sent to us at this scale as well. In the lower area of the templates, you will always see the exact measurements, as well as a small illustration showing which elements can be printed and whether there is a minimum distance.

The print area is marked in the templates. For products with hems, these hems are marked by gray, dark gray, or black areas. The design must continue on these areas to avoid flashes. A dashed line indicates the minimum distance from the edge. This minimum distance ensures that important elements are not disturbed by seams, etc.

When using the design templates, make sure to use the correct variant. For beach flags, there are standard and premium variants.

Resolution

at least 75 dpi up to a maximum of 150 dpi
alternatively for very large files: scale 1:10 at least 750 dpi up to 1500 dpi

When exporting to PDF, pay attention to the resolution of the images. The default setting is 300dpi. This is too much for scale 1:1 and too little for scale 1:10.

Color settings

CMYK color space with the color profiles:

Use design templates if available
Name files with motif and quantity
Resolution: at least 75 dpi, for plates at least 150 dpi
At a scale of 1:10 at least 750 dpi
CMYK color space with COATED FOGRA 39, COATED FOGRA 27 or ISO Coated V2
No spot colors
Black as rich black (40/40/40/100)
Overprint settings should always be disabled (except for contour cutting & drilling)
Embed images
Convert fonts to paths
No bleed, no crop marks
Only for contour cutting: set contour as spot color to overprint
Only for contour cutting & plate printing: 5 mm bleed
Only for white printing: create elements as spot color
